Scout - Tom Drwal's Knife
Tomasz Drwal – former UFC fighter, MMA pioneer, martial arts school founder, and outdoor, hunting, and shooting enthusiast, now co-creating a knife series with Polish company Za-Pas, built to his highest standards of precision and durability.
The knife features a flat-ground drop point blade, making it extremely versatile in use. The blade is made of 1.4416S stainless tool steel, developed as a counterpart to the popular Sandvik 14C28N steel. Thanks to its high chromium content, the steel offers full stainless properties, while the addition of nitrogen increases hardness and provides excellent cutting aggression.
Jimping on the spine of the blade prevents the finger from slipping during use.
The blade is heat treated to a hardness of 59–61 HRC.
Durable G10 Handle
The handle scales are made of durable black G10 composite. The knife features a full-tang construction, with the scales secured using stainless steel screws.
The handle material is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids, and—most importantly—offers high resistance to mechanical damage.
Polymer Sheath
The knife comes with a polymer sheath, allowing both vertical and horizontal carry thanks to our custom-designed black stainless steel belt attachment.
The mounting holes are spaced to allow installation of a Tek-Lok type clip.

Knifes Manufacturing
Knives by Pabiś is a small family business run by the three of us—brothers Daniel, Jan, and Szymon.
The ZA-PAS brand is one part of our creative work and was created specifically for outdoor and folding knives.
We produce small batches of knives based on our own designs. From the initial sketch and 3D models, through raw steel and handle materials, all the way to the finished product.
Leather sheath Manufacturing
Please remember, I’m not a factory — I make everything myself.
Each creation begins with an idea, followed by the careful choice of materials and the making process itself.
To ensure the highest quality, I use only first-grade leather. Its thickness depends on the purpose of the item, while the color is entirely up to you.
If you don’t see the shade you’re looking for, just let me know — I’m sure we can find a solution.
